Mackenzie is a Registered Physiotherapist who graduated from The University of Toronto with a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy in 2016, and received an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour from McMaster University in 2013. She is a member of the Canadian and Ontario Physiotherapy Associations and has clinical experience with sports injuries, post-surgical patients, geriatric and paediatric patient populations. Additionally,  Mackenzie has completed additional post-graduate training in neurofunctional acupuncture from the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program in 2017.

After becoming a mother in 2018, Mackenzie’s professional focus shifted toward pelvic health, with a special interest in women’s health. Mackenzie is a Certified Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, specializing in conditions related to pregnancy, pelvic girdle pain, lumbo-pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, diastasis, vaginismus/dyspareunia, urinary frequency & urgency, as well as, chronic pain conditions. Her clinical approach emphasizes hands-on treatment, education, and active exercises to encourage patients to take an active role in achieving their rehabilitative goals.

Mackenzie actively participates in Crossfit, yoga, and mountain biking, and enjoys hiking with her daughter and 2 dogs in her spare time.
