For your convenience we offer email and text reminders for upcoming appointments.  These are optional and a courtesy. Patients are responsible for remembering their appointments even if these reminders fail or are not requested.

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapist’s day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 6 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment.  You can reach us by phone, leave a voicemail, or by email to let us know you’re canceling your appointment.

Patients who provide less than 6 hours notice, or miss their appointment, may be charged a late notice fee per the following schedule:

Missed Appointments:

  • Full Fee of the appointment missed will be charged for any missed appointment, if no notice was given to reschedule or cancel the appointment.  This must be paid within 7 days, or before your next appointment, whichever is sooner.

Late Notice (less than 6 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment):

  • First late notice:
    • $25 fee will be charged for the appointment rescheduled or canceled within the late notice period.
  • Second (and beyond) late notice:
    • Full Fee of the appointment rescheduled or canceled within the late notice period will be charged.
    • This must be paid within 7 days, or before your next appointment, whichever is sooner.
    • We will require you to provide us a valid credit card number to store on file to be automatically billed for future late notice or missed appointments.

We reserve the right to waive our late notice fees given extenuating circumstances, like inclement weather, emergencies at work or at home, sickness, COVID-19 exposure or quarantine, etc.  If unforeseen circumstances come up preventing you from attending your appointment, please reach out to us as soon as possible!

If you are able to fill your appointment time by giving your appointment to someone else, we will not charge you the late notice fee.  Let us know if you will be sending someone else in your place, and we will waive the fee.
