Cassie graduated from the Ontario College of Health & Technology with her Accelerated Massage Therapy diploma and is ready to start her new career as a Registered Massage Therapist. She attended the University of Guelph and earned her Bachelor of Science Honours Major Human Kinetics degree in 2021.
From a young age, Cassie knew she wanted to pursue a career where she could help people feel their best. After being pieced back together by many manual therapists following sports and equestrian injuries, she realized the importance of massage therapists in the rehabilitation journey. Her university experience allowed her to focus in on the science behind human anatomy, physiology, nutrition, exercise and disease prevention. This was an excellent foundation for transitioning into the massage therapy program, where she was then able to combine this with the practical application of massage techniques and rehabilitative exercise therapy. Although she loves helping people reach their rehabilitative goals, she values the importance of relaxation massage for physical and mental well-being.
When Cassie isn’t in the clinic assisting patients, she can be found at the barn spending quality time with her horses, in the forest hiking with her dog or at a Blue Jays game with her friends and family.
